this was a $120 craigslist find. i love the clean lines and details of this desk, but my favorite part about it is the hardware.
the owner told me the desk used to belong to her mother, a decorator. how fitting.
a desk chair was also included, however, needs to be reupholstered. it's a solid chair with strong lines.
initially i envisioned mid-century modern pieces in the office but when you find something you love, you learn to be flexible in a vision. i stumbled upon this Lonny image the other day, which sums up the new look i'm going for:
traditional mixed with modern and masculinity with a little bit of rustic too.
